Bilingual designer, manager and coordinator. As a quick learner and a team player I have managed to pick up a lot of skills along the way, making me a versatile graphic designer. From managing groups of people and multiple projects at once I’ve become an advanced, organized multi-tasker. Having to constantly speak with team members, higher ups and clients has also given me strong interpersonal skills along with communication skills such as being a good listener.

In the past I’ve worked at my universities' magazine, "Panorama" (later named "PULSE") for two years. On my last year I became the lead Graphic Designer- I was in charge of putting together the entire magazine. This included organizing the multiple subject sections, the layouts, organizing the groups of students to turn in all of their material, choosing the typography, selecting and making images, etc. I had additionally helped put together a story the previous issue. The last issue I worked on I was also able to work on my own story - therefore I got to write as well.

At the same time that I was working on the universities magazine I was also working on my own BFA project where I created a magazine based off of a street fashion I am heavily involved in. I have been part of the fashion group for four years and have been organizing events for them almost every month since, which has even led me to meet people abroad- this really helped in the making of my magazine. Working on all these projects has led me not only to expand my skills as an artist and graphic designer, but also as a person whose social skills and event coordinating experience has grown immensely. I am fast to learn and adapt, and I always enjoy taking on new projects, which help me become a better designer in the long run.

My most recent three jobs have all helped me grow on both my design skills and time-management skills as I have basically have had to be my own boss. I currently handle about 60 different projects all at once and then share them with my production team. I got through all assets and speak with both the client and our production team to make sure I’ve acquired all that I need. After kicking off a project I have to manage dates for proofs and finals- I’ve had projects that last between 3 days all the way to 3 months depending on the type of project I’m handling. I have to be time efficient and communicate throughout the entire process with my client. I then apply post-production and have to go into Photoshop to make these additional touch ups. So all in all I’ve become a well-rounded employee who can create graphics and manage projects for clients of all backgrounds with different needs.
